Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Designer / Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and designs based on specifications and calculations provided by engineers, architects, or project managers. The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical documents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Create technical drawings, layouts, and plans based on project specifications.
• Revise drawings as necessary based on feedback from engineers, architects, or clients.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs align with project requirements.
• Maintain and update design records, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Assist in preparing bills of materials (BOMs) and technical documentation.
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards and project requirements.
• Conduct site visits when required to gather design data or verify measurements.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Civil, Architectural, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman or Designer.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar drafting software.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of drafting standards, measurements, and geometric tolerances.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to create accurate and high-quality drawings.
• Teamwork & Communication: Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Additional Skills (Preferred): Knowledge of BIM, SketchUp, 3D Modeling, Photoshop, or other design tools is a plus.
