It securely holds tools or workpieces for cylindrical and tool grinding, indexing, light milling, drilling, and surface finishing—combining clamping, precision rotation, and quick indexing in one unit.

3. Which machines, tapers, and collet/chuck systems is it compatible with?
Fits most Tool & Cutter Grinders, Surface Grinders, conventional and CNC Milling machines, commonly used drilling machines etc. Frequently used as an inspection apparatus too.
4. What precision and capacity can I expect?
Accepts long work pieces (250 mm and more) due to its through bore design (eg. Er32 model has a through bore of 21 mm and ER40 of 27 mm)
5. How adjustable is the head?
Head tilts and swivels for compound-angle grinding or milling; a quick-lock scale lets you dial in and repeat angles fast.
6. Whats the build quality like?
15 kg (approx.) body in precision-ground, stress-relieved cast iron with hardened steel spindles and sealed bearings for protection from grinding dust and coolant helping ensure a long life. Supplied pre-aligned and ready to mount via ground base surfaces with T-slots/bolt holes.
7. Is it suited to high-volume production or toolrooms?
Although, the Universal Workhead is most suitable several toolroom due to its versatility, it's quick indexing and low effort - high torque spindle locking mechanism of spring loaded twin bushes makes its the ideal choice for high-volume production jobs as well.
8. Which accessories, custom options, or spares are available?
ER collets, round chucks, special taper adapters, extra indexing plates, and replacement bearings are stocked. Custom bore sizes or mounting flanges can be built in 1-2 weeks.
9. What about warranty, maintenance, and user support?
12-month warranty against manufacturing defects. Keep it clean and check alignment periodically. Manuals, video guides, and WhatsApp/email tech support are included on-site or video training demos can be arranged.
